On a dark day between Christmas and New Year, we are inviting you to devote some time to YOU and join us at the beautiful Hare and Hounds Pavilion for a whole afternoon dedicated to celebrating our Yoga practice. Gen (Yoga Hush), Jo (Yoga Ignite) and Vikki (Yoga Connect) will assist you through a full immersion into many aspects of the practice, taking you deep into the breath, body, mind and soul, enriching your understanding of Yoga and leaving you ready to embrace the New Year.
We will begin with plenty of time to relax into our venue and indulge in an extended relaxation and Pranayama. We will then move on to some powerfully sequenced slow flows suitable for practitioners of all levels, including beginners. Each sequence ends with the theme of each flow developing into more challenging options where you can choose to shine your light, or rest and be inspired.
A short inversion practice will follow – optional: take part or take rest.
Break for herbal tea.
As darkness falls we will move on to a candlelit, and fully seated series of postures, with aromatherapy, to release any remaining tension and which will bring us to Savasana with optional head massage. Staying fully reclined and relaxed we will guide you through a meditation inviting you to recognise and release anything within our hearts that we do not need to bring with us into the New Year.
We will then be offering vegan treats and there will be no rush to leave the room until 5pm. Please stay and enjoy the energies and mingle. (Additional drinks are available to buy from the adjacent bar and can be bought into the room.)
This event is suitable for all ages and abilities (minimum age 14). There will be some challenging options included that may not be accessible to all, but this will be a wonderful opportunity for those who wish to share their practice to do so, and for others to see, celebrate and be inspired by their asana progress. This is a rare chance for small classes to come together and practice as a larger group, with 3 teachers there to support you.
You will need to bring:
Sweater/extra layer for start/end
Plenty of free onsite parking.
Booking is essential to secure your space. Price of the whole afternoon including vegan treats is £40
Payment is required on booking by cash to any of the teachers or by bank transfer to myself. (Please message for details if you do not have them.)
